I have been very remiss in blogging lately. It just seems as if there is never enough time. Yes- I'm making excused- one of the blogs I follow- (Diet Coke Rocks) she blogs every day- multiple times a day- I fear I lack her dedication. I feel bad- I enjoy blogging- but I have joined the Face book cult- and spend more time on Face book than I do blogging. I originally started blogging to keep the memories for my kids- and I hate when I wait so long that I forget things. I also went back to school. I had originally thought to take two classes this summer and decided that I would take only one. Smart thing I did- Diet and Nutrition are kicking my butt. (could be because I think Chips/Salsa and Sour cream cover all the food groups and therefore is good for you!)

May was busy- We ended April with my Great Grandmother's 100th birthday party and headed straight into a "something has to be done every weekend".

The first weekend in May we went to a birthday party for my friend Kelly's little girl- Caidi. She turned 6 this year. She is also from China and has been home- going on 4 years. The party was at the beach- but not beach side. At a park that has a board walk around the inlet and we were able to see a dolphin playing in the water. I need a much faster camera so I can catch these pictures- all I was able to get was the fin.

Mother's Day weekend-I talked Jim into going to EPCOT to see Davy Jones play at the Flower Festival- only Jim and I went on Saturday night. We had a great time. I love Davy- so any chance to see him is taken. I used to watch the Monkee's every day when I got home from school- 4:30. I bought all the albums (used) at a used record store (yep- they were vinyl) even bought a lot of the trading cards. On Sunday- Jim and I took the girls out to Disney- for 2 or 3 hours. Just to walk around - and they asked if we could go. Before we went to Disney- everyone went to see my Grandmother. It was nice to spend a few hours with her- and it was everyone. My Aunt and Uncle came over with 3 of their boys. We took some great pictures of everyone.

The following weekend- we headed to Downtown Disney early- On Saturday- to meet a blogger friend/Mei Dreams friend at Downtown Disney. http://lifewitholiviarheaxiao.blogspot.com/ Her daughter Olivia and Goose are from the same orphanage- but we "met" online in the Mei Dreams (yahoo DTC group) when I was adopting Moose and she was getting Olivia. We had a great time watching the girls play- and after we went home. After we got home I roped- I mean asked the Ogre to babysit the girls so I could go back to EPCOT to hang with my favorite niece and BFF. We ran around EPCOT like crazy people- and then took the tram back to the Magic Kingdom to ride Space Mountain - Pirates and Buzz Lightyear. We did this in celebration of Haley's 16th birthday. Sunday- Jen came over for Jim to change brakes on her car (benefit of having a mechanic in the family) and while he did that we hit Best Buy and Sam's Club to buy her a birthday present - and buy dinner. A nice evening - grilled steaks, opened presents and of course cake and ice cream.

The weekend of the 22nd- we cleaned the house. I started with Ogre in his room. We cleaned drawers- we cleaned the closet- and we cleaned under the bed. There was dusting and furniture polishing. The room took most of the day- and then I skated out of the house and went with Jennifer and Michelle to see a movie. Letter to Juliette- love the movie and we had a great time. A couple of glasses of wine and movie with friends. Need it once in a while.

Sunday morning - up early and started work on the Moose and Goose's room. Again- moving furniture, dusting polishing, drawers and book shelves. The girls will most likely not fit into all of the winter clothes they had for this year- and we still had some 18 month size stuff to get rid of. They have room in the drawers now- and they are a great "help" in putting away their clean clothes.

We ended the month with family in from out of town. Had a great time with Jim's brother and his family. We were sad to see them go- but managed to pull ourselves together- for one more trip to Disney before our passes black out for the summer.

Haley and I pulled off balloons and cake for Jennifer's birthday- and then on her birthday(6/5) she, Michelle and I went to a gallery art show. The art was not to my taste- but we are working on getting out of our comfort zone- and being open to new experiences. We ended the day at the house with cake and ice cream.

Sunday - the Zoo went to EPCOT and Magic Kingdom- the girls wanted to say good bye to Mulan and Alladin for the summer and Poppy wanted to see the Electric Light Parade on Main Street. It was the lightest I had seen the crowds in a long time- the heat was bad- and there was not a breeze to be had. The parade was fantastic!!!! The girls loved it and I was glad they had the opportunity to see it before it leaves again.

The rest of this month is for relaxing and catching up on house stuff. I hope to be picking up some extra shifts doing hospice- the Ogre has asked to go to London with his drama class in January 2011. I am all for it- he is going to help pay for it- so he is going. I always wanted to go to Europe and I know he will have a great time.

I have also opted to go back to school. I have a year or so left to start the RN program and want to finish what I started so long ago.

Phew! Such a long post! Don't feel bad about not blogging more often, each to their own mate!
I only update during the day cos I know I have many followers who want to know what I'm up to... even if it's nothing interesting! Weird people! LOL!

I have lost a lot of friends who used to blog to Facebook.. which is sad. They are still 'friends' but just don't blog!

I have a Facebook account, but hardly ever use it!

The 4 girls look adorable....
