So- since I last blogged- and my parents will tell you that they remind me to blog- but who has time.

Moose graduated from VPK (voluntary pre- K) or K-4. She wore a cap and gown- walked down the aisle, stood on the stage and sang her little heart out. It was wonderful!!! She did such a great job- the girl had no fear of being on stage in front of the audience. They sang "What a Beautiful World" and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"- they also did some songs that they both sang and signed. ( I want her to continue with the signing- it is considered a foreign language.

It was such sweet moment- but it is hard because I am a little worried about how Goose is going to do next year. They have never been separated for any real length of time. They have been in different classes- but before and after class time- they were together. So next year brings a lot of changes. Moose will be at the grade school the Ogre went to. It is a charter school and I really liked it when the Ogre went there. I have a friend whose daughter goes there- and I think it will be a good fit for the Moose. Goose will be great at her pre-school. They are growing up- and if possible it seems faster this time around.
Moose is the only child from her class going to her new school. It is sad- she has friends- and she will miss them. Devon is a little boy in her class- and he has a crush on the Moose. I think the feeling is shared. She told me that she was going to be Ariel and Devon was going to be Prince Eric. She also wanted them to be a wedding cake topper. She will get to see them for a couple of weeks this summer- but then she and Goose will be staying home for the summer.

We ended Moose's night with flowers and cake- ice cream cake with her name on it. She was thrilled.

We are so proud of you Moose- you did great this year. You have grown - you like your homework, you studied your sight words, learned to count, and to write. You are a super sweet girl- and you are a shining star!
