At Aunt Eddie's

Practice on the dock
Hanging in the water

Blake getting ready

Letting out a little more rope

They look so far away

Big smiles

This is fun

A little wave action

This was the big bump- a little concern- and then all smiles again

Checking to make sure Blake is there

Laughing

In the boat-

Goose is loving the driving part- Moose wants to know if it is her turn

Waiting for Moose to finish up- so I can have another turn

Did you see me????

There are a thousand things I should be doing- but today we went to my Aunt Eddie Sue's to play on the water. They have a boat- so I took Moose and Goose over there to go out on the boat and to ride on the tube. (NO- not by themselves)
My cousin Blake (good looking one on the tube with the girls) took them out. At first I thought it was going to be a no go- Moose was telling me No- she didn't "tink" so. Goose has gone on it before- so I knew she would like it.

We had a "practice" session on the dock where they just lay down on the tube and held on- then we "practiced" in the water- they sat on it, laid down on it- but we did not move, and then we were allowed to move very slowly. Seriously- I could have paddled faster. We inched our way up from there. They loved it- I don't think they even got wet. They bounced, they laughed, and after 1 very bouncy bump- they looked concerned.

They also got to drive the boat with a little help from Uncle Kirk. I am not sure which they enjoyed more- the tube or the driving.

After boating and tubing we had a little lunch with Eddie and Kirk. It was a great afternoon. We had to leave early- to beat the rain- and to get to both Costco and Sam's.

The girls fell asleep in the car- so we were lucky that Poppy didn't want to go into Costco. A quick run in- and lucky us- lunch boxes were on sale. Goose got a brand new lunch box for her new pre-school. (now I just have to worry about uniforms for the two of them)

A little shopping for our 4th of July BBQ- and then a quick stop at the Party store for invitations.
A busy day- and I am thankful that this is a 3 day weekend.
Some cooking and cleaning this evening- so that I can have some fun tomorrow.
