Orientation Days

Everyone starts back to school next week- so today everyone had orientation, meet the teacher, drop of the supplies day. I also had to sign Moose up for the YMCA's after school program make her a "Y" member.

Last night I went to kindergarten orientation- but today was meet the teacher. We got up early, got the school supplies together (figured out what was we did not have yet) and headed out. Ogre is doing some volunteer hours at his school and had to dropped off. Had to stop at Wal Mart to buy the last few supplies the Moose needed- and then we met Daddy at her school. Daddy was in the office signing up to take care of some of the 30 volunteer hours we commit to.

Moose was thrilled to go to her new classroom. Her teachers Ms T and Mrs N were in the room. They took her supplies and stashed her snacks away. Moose walked around the classroom, sat at a couple of different desks and looked through a couple of books. Goose was just as interested in the books. Ms. T gave the kids that were there paper and crayons and told had them write their names and color. Goose (who is not in her class) loved this- Moose quickly wrote her name and gave her back her piece of paper- and proceeded to walk around the room and talk to everyone who came in.

After meeting Moose's teachers- we went to see Grandma and run some errands and do some shopping. When the Ogre called to say he was done with his day at the school- Grandma and Poppy followed us up to pick Ogre up- and we all went to dinner. The food at Mi Tierra is fabulous. It is almost impossible to leave there not feeling stuffed.

It was then off to Ogre and Goose's school- orientation and meeting the VPK classroom teachers.
Goose and Moose walked right into the room and started playing. I can only hope it goes this well on Monday.

No schedules for the Jr's yet- so a quick trip up to the school tomorrow.
